Time sure does fly, doesn’t it? This month, Berkeley Community Acupuncture (BCA) will be celebrating its fifth year of delivering topnotch acupuncture in Denver. We have grown tremendously over the last half-decade, all thanks to your support. Now, as we face the next chapter in our history, we have several exciting announcements we’d like to make.
First off, we are happy to announce that we have included massage therapy among our regular services. Moving forward, patrons old and new can enjoy a variety of soothing massages, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue manipulation, neuromuscular therapy, structural bodywork, rehabilitative massage, and craniosacral therapy, among others. Massage therapy is especially suited to clients dealing with pain since it improves blood flow to affected areas while stimulating the release of opioids, nature’s painkiller. What’s more, our massages can help relieve you of the stresses of daily living, as well.
Next, we’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the BCA team: Caprice Stagner. Her first passion is esthetics, having practiced it for the last four years after earning her associate’s degree in Kansas City, MO. However, she possesses a keen interest in alternative modalities of healing, which is why she joins our company to learn acupuncture. She creates her own organic products and is well versed in practices like Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, acupressure, herbalism, hot stone therapy, and Chinese cupping. With her extensive knowledge of various healing techniques, she is sure to be an important asset to our company.
Of course, you can still enjoy our signature treatment: acupuncture. With each delicate needle inserted, our highly trained acupuncturists will restore the balance of yin and yang in your body, which allows for the free flow of qi (the body’s vital energy) and promotes better health. This technique, in conjunction with massage therapy, is also a proven means of managing pain caused by neurological problems, digestive difficulties, muscle aches, respiratory complications, and a host of other conditions.
Here at BCA, we believe in employing natural, non-invasive healing methods to help our clients deal with discomforts. We also believe that good health can only be achieved by the unity of mind, body, and spirit, which is why we employ an integrated approach to treatments.
